I wanted him, thought we could get him for somewhere around 13-15. Market for receivers is crazy.

yes cause careers of 68 ypg vs 41 ypg is obvious that romeo is the best.

No you just dont understand it. Your projections in the other thread look terrible now.

You’re about to see what Doubs looks like getting Olave volume
If it takes Doubs 150 targets to get 1100 yards then I’ll stand corrected

You assume Doubs can even get open enough to get 150 targets. We're about to see if he can post 85+ catches or if he is just a meh number 2 at best.

5th in the NFL in separation win rate last year.
2nd in 2024 (would’ve led the league in ‘25)

Did they release him after FAs started?

Really slow day today
Still some guys out there I’d like to see the Saints go after. Bosa, maybe. Asante Samuel Jr. Shenal, etc.

Isn’t that a sh!t thing to do? Much of the big money is now gone.

Thought it was tomorrow too, but either way it appears it will happen anyway.
Just jumped on OTC and they show the Saints with $19.1M in cap space and are waiting on Etienne & Fant's numbers to finalize. It's never linear with Loomis, but even if you look at highest possible figure for 2025 ($52M/4 years = $13M per) ($8.75M/2 years = $4.4M per) would still have them about $4.7M* under.
*Their contracts will replace 2 guys on the top 51 that already account for $1M each.
