There have been dozens of threads on the tiger rant about directv, charter disputes with networks. Internet outages, cable is out, how do I stream? All kinds of shite.

You can comfortably watch Saints game this season with a $15 antenna from Walmart. Save yourself the headache.

The only issue in New Orleans is that WVUE Fox 8 has a very weak signal and is hard to catch, so any Saints viewing when they are on Fox will be rough. The other 3 network channels are much stronger signals so it's not as bad then.

It’s been awhile since i had to watch on antenna, but I have never had an issue in Jeff Parish. Have you tried moving the antenna around and pointing it different ways? From what I recall, it is best to have the antenna towards Chalmette & Grenta to get the best signals for the local channels; I just don’t recall which channels are towards Chalmette & which ones are towards Gretna.

WWL is in Gretna. Everyone else is in Chalmette.

You all can down vote me all you want but their is no such thing as a HD antenna. It is nothing more than a marketing scheme. You won't pick up anything on one of them that you couldn't pick up with your grandpaws roof mounted antenna made in 1978.

I don't think people are giving a frick about the argument over the name. It's about nitpicking the name of something that works for the purpose of what the op is posting about. No one gives a shite if it's actually hd.

That's a legit concern. I actually have a good signal where I am now compared to on the Westbank or one of the places on the eastbank I was at.

There are things you can try to make it work better, but if you are in a shite area for it, you may need to try a stronger antenna or something else.
