Plus everyone knows the only number that matters is the guaranteed money

Then you sign nobody.

Go back to the Tiger rant. You have no idea what is going on.

Here's all you need to know about NFL contracts. They will only get the guarantee money. Let's see what that is before we start going off the deep end

deal is worth $36 million, although only a portion of that total is likely to be guaranteed.

Ok.

But how many of you would have honestly thought Fleener was worth over 7 mil when you woke up this morning?
Or were you thinking closer to four?

Wouldn't you rather spend 7 mill on a proven contributer at the tight end position or would you rather roll with hill and hooman as you're only options and/or wasting a draft pick on the sub par TE class this year

no way dude...It's way better to just divide the total number by the years and then whine like petulant children

I really like Fleener. Just thought he would come way cheaper.

Would've been better to keep Watson for another year...

This is another bad decision.

Average guys all around the league getting monster contracts but we should just hold off because we can get some good guys for cheap!!

Get a grip dude. The cap is increasing exponentially annually. This contract is small time compared to what we will see in the next 5 years. This is average starter money.
