I think people have this idea of what a good cornerback is. And there are two types, shutdown all pros and busts/bums. That's ridiculous. I'm sorry but PRob is so much better than anyone gives him credit for. The guys ball skills are incredible. Sure he takes chances on plays an misses sometimes but that's part of the job. You're going to give up catches in this day and age. PRob is good. Actually none of those guys are busts. I'd say outside of Ellis none have even disappointed me. They've all done their jobs within our scheme.

After 1 year he's a bust? Come on now. Everyone knows we drafted him the year after they were calling us for a starting running back (due to ridiculous amounts of injuries). His value will show up when PT and/or Sproles have injury issues.

It took 18 games for Jordan to get his first sack in the NFL...I don't think that has ever been done by any other DE picked in the first round in the history of the NFL. Hasn't shown much...

have been trying to avoid some of these trash threads... but I'm a recovering draftaholic and the idiocy here might be worse than the tank threads etc.

These guys might have 2-3 Pro Bowls between them. To me, that constitutes a bust

It's so ignorant that I wonder if we're just feeding the troll. If you really know that little about draft picks do just a little cursory reading before dumping your garbage.

well he had 2 or 3 last year taken away by penalties, but he's a run stopping DE anyway

I would say Cam Jordan has been better than expected

Did Saints talk just time travel? I see this thread on the main screen with just three post, but I refresh the original thread, and my post is still there, but I click on the other thread, and it's just 3 replies

I'm getting some weird stuff similar too. This thread only showed one page/10 replies when I first looked at it this a.m. Something like not refreshing automatically.

Uh, check out the Cheif's last couple of picks Tiger Pimp.
A guy by the name of Tyson Chandler...3rd overall pick, 2 total sacks so far in his career.
That's a bust. Also a DE.

And cam was picked 21 picks behind Tyson.
Did you see Cam's Stats this year? 11 tackles in his first game...?

these dumbass threads inspired an idea for TD...

-the best thing is to ignore and lettem sink.

-some are so obnoxiously stupid though it's hard not to reply. Then when the replies get rolling the feed the trolls comes into play.

-idea: not an anchor but have a button, even if in the RA- 'Keep my post anchored' You could reply then without feeding the trolls or propogating idiocracy

32nd pick dude, and different scheme. Ellis was picked significantly higher and been in the league longer.

Talent evals on offense have been immaculate. On defense...well, they got some work to do.
