I love Drew Brees to this very day.
But...
Dude does and says some stupid arse shite. Shows he's easily provoked. Hire a damn business manager, man.
And, your run for political office is stupid because they'll crucify you, running your face more thoroughly through the mud.
Drew, just stop and be the good dad we all know you are. Be more like Archie Manning...

Because there's recent mentions of him saying that he's wanting to run for political office. The early reports of this was before he retired, and they said that he wanted to one day run (maybe he also said this.)

I don’t think he really has the charisma or personality for a political run, so I agree with you there.
He failed with NBC as a sports analyst because he was too vanilla and not interesting at all. It was like he was afraid to say anything stupid. You have to have thicker skin than that in politics.

Drew was definitely scarred from previous experiences and was paralyzed in fear of saying something on air.
Blame cancel culture and blm racism for Drew Brees being vanilla on air in the booth.
I feel like he would have been much better if the Yahoo Finance article wasn’t blown out of proportion. It unfortunately altered/hindered his natural public persona.

Crazy how quickly people will turn on you. Brees was put in an impossible situation and hung out to dry by his teammates and the entire Saints organization. He shouldn’t have apologized for his stance on the flag. But it’s real easy to judge sitting in the cheap seats when you don’t have anything to lose.
