Might not be the worst thing. Make Kris the DC and end that Co DC nonsense

Need to put a clause in any saints coach, if they get another job, their team has to take Allen or no deal

wasn't it the first season that Nielsen was the Saints D-line coach that the D-line got a frick ton batted passes at the line?

I want to say the Lions game in particular. Cam Jordan Batted one up picked it off in the endzone.

I’d prefer the opposite, make Nielsen the full time DC.

He’s just jumping off the ship before it sinks

I don't blame him because he's getting the full responsibility.

Co defensive coordinator sounds like a buddy head coach suggestion

Not hard to argue that he’s better than Allen. They had way less talent than us and our teams were about the same this year.

I thought for sure they’d be picking first overall this year. So kudos to Smith.

Allen and Smith could both get fired next year but Nielsen would at least get a year as solo DC on his resume.

That’s a huge loss. He is a rising star. Falcons just got a good one. At least it contributes to the Saints being shittier next year and a higher draft pick.

I would have loved getting Sean back somehow and making Nielsen the DC. Obviously that’s never happening. I’m honestly surprised he didn’t get poached for a DC job the plays couple years. I’d love to say wish him well but he went to the enemy so he can frick off now.
