Fact of the Day: Deshaun Watson is the Most Accurate Passer in NFL History.

Literally. He has the NFL record for career completion percentage.
A lot of negative mfers will be on this board over the next few hours/days. To those who will complain about what we have to give up and question OMG is he worth it....YES HE IS WORTH IT. You make this trade 100 out of 100 fricking times.

An elite QB is worth the extra picks. I would rather a proven elite player at the QB position. You could spend the next two or three firsts on drafting QBs that likely bust. It's as if some people don't factor in you are gaining a proven player.
Not sure how any Louisiana fan would be against acquiring an elite QB. Look at what Brees did for the Saints and then Burrow for LSU.

Also, he is 26. As a GB homer said on WWL yesterday, he loves Aaron Rogers but would give up anything to get Watson. 26 year old, proven franchise QBs are NEVER available. This is a guy who makes you a contender for 10-12 years.

People don't understand how rare this is and the opportunity in front of us. It's like getting the number one pick in the draft without having to sacrifice watching a shitty season prior to it. Oh and that number one pick is a future hall of famer.
This is an unreal chance. You have to do it.

Stephen A. & Dan Orlovsky "heated debate" How many QBs are better than Deshaun Watson?
I agree with Dan Orlovsky here.

People were willing to trade a ton of picks for Russel Wilson, who has been on the decline for years and is in his mid 30s. IMO, the only QBs that are more valuable then Watson in terms of building your team for long term success are Mahomes, Allen and Burrow. And you could even make the argument that he is just as good of a value as those 3.

You could argue that if Watson went to KC when Mahomes did he would have had the same success or more.

I would argue Brees was not a proven franchise QB when we signed him. He was probably closer to an injured Kirk Cousins then a Watson.

You are free to think that but you'd be wrong. The only reason Drew was available was the uncertainty behind his labrum injury and SD's conundrum with drafting Rivers. He was already franchise tagged, lead a division championship, made the pro bowl, had a playoff run, and was named NFL comeback player of the year by the time he left San Diego. He was only 26 and a top 10 NFL QB with only 3 seasons as a starter under his belt.

If Brees was top 10 in 2005, he was #10. His stats that year back that up, be it yards or QBR. Kirk Cousins was #4 in QBR last year and #9 in yards, so I don't think the comparison is that far off.
What I am saying is Brees wasn't considered in the same stratosphere in 2006 as Watson is today.

Kirk Cousins is in his mid 30's bruh.
Its not a good comparison.

He ain't wrong. Stephen A says Rogers is better but when asked why he gaslights. Because he thinks that because he heard other people talk about how good Rogers is and his football knowledge is abysmal so he conflates that to Rodgers being so much better than Watson.
