Explain this Goodell conspiracy theory.

he blames saints fans for exposing how the NFL rigs games and that did hurt their profits a good bit

he also had a personal hate for payton for calling him out about the cheating and that hate was mutual.

he will always look to hurt the saints as a FU to saints fanbase for exposing how the NFL cheats and rigs the games to maximize ratings and profits

i dont think he gives 2 shits about the team or organization but revels in sticking it to saints fans. he is that petty and vindictive

It actually dated back to super bowl week and Loomis and Payton not bending over backwards to kiss corporate asses like Goodell wanted! He asked them to move a practices so they could go to a party and they refused and it was a BIG BLOW UP! Rumor was Goodell even called Tom Benson and Tom told him he backed what Loomis and Payton wanted to do because they know whats best for his team. Ever sense that week Roger has been out against the saints organization...

My conspiracy theory is that Payton left the Saints this offseason so he could go on the offensive against Goodell. Payton will become involved as some form of witness associated with the Redskins organization investigation/hearings and the Gruden lawsuit.

And there’s many fanbases that don’t like him.

It’s well known that jerry Jones hates the lying mfer as does a bunch of other owners including Tom Benson over Bounty Gate bs, when GoToHell claimed they had 10000 pages of evidence on Saints when it turned out to be 0 pages of evidence, as shown by the reversal of every player’s suspension.

Benson fell in with Jones, he had the votes to fire GoToHell. The opposition was lead by the pats and falcons owners. They bribed the raiders with the move to Vegas, and chargers with their move etc and GoToHell was retained and since he can’t do shite to Jones, he has taken it out on us particularly since Benson has died

Tom Benson was his boss. Roger Goodell is supposed to be managing the corporate side of the NFL, doing things to keep the money rolling in. He's supposed to be invisible when it comes to teams and the play on the field.

He singled out Payton for something that probably STILL happens league-wide, and completely cratered the Saints' season one year. And directly cast a big shadow on the Saints Super Bowl season, intentionally, in the process. This wasn't doping, or cheating, or gambling (throwing games), it was a locker room ploy to fire up the defense... and nobody got injured by the Saints that year.

Where's the big scandal with the Bucs ruining the Saints season last year, with a player who got multiple 15 yd penalties eventually taking out Winston on another? If that had been the reverse, Payton would have been suspended, guaranteed.

And I'm not going to go full conspiracy here, but watching the Rams go to the Super Bowl on the worst no-call I've ever seen in my life (one the Rams player even laughed about)... and nothing was ever said.
