Why would a NFL team want cash in a trade?

Are you joking? Mike Brown.

The cheapest owner in all of major professional sports. Multiple former advisors have gone on record as saying he is fully satisfied with the money he makes losing so he doesn’t care about winning and will never ever spend the money to do so.

They don’t have an indoor training facility. They use the stadium for facilities. He won’t fire a coach if he has to pay him.

I could see Brown going for a few mill.

Is this legal? I remember the Bucs giving draft picks and money for Gruden but was not sure it was allowed for draft picks.

Mike Brown sucks and hates trading unless it’s laughably lopsided

I would not be surprised if Carolina gets bent over for 4-5 years worth of 1st round picks

They play in fricking Cincy and don’t have an indoor training facility.

There are tons of legendary stories about Browns cheapness.

I don’t want him to end up in Carolina for us, and I don’t want him to end up in Cincy for him.

There’s zero chance an nfl qb needy team justifies trading out of the 1 pick this year with a kid grown from your home stare to boot. ZERO.

Only team that has the ammo to get there is the phins. 5 first rounders in 2 years is a load.

Really? Because $10-$20M for something you get for free every year is a really good deal. And his fan base, GM, coaching staff, and players probably all hate him as much as possible already so no damage there.

I read that the Bengals ownership is the most difficult to work with and trade with in the league. See AJ Green this season. No point to keep him, but they refused to trade him. They wouldn’t even field offers. They’re the Bengals for a reason.

Any other team the needs a QB? Not a chance. The Bungles? Absolutely! The Panthers aren't going to be the only team calling either.

This kind of stuff is what makes part of me hate the idea of a draft.

Universal free agency with the hard cap would be interesting.

If you’re a Saints fan you should want no part of Burrow in Carolina. After what i watched this year I don’t see any way he’s not a really good NFL QB.

Soccer does this all time, but there is no salary cap.

Teams buy/sell players all the time. They even loan them to teams so they can develop.

If he doesn't take Burrow, Ohio's new favorite son, they would burn that bitch to the ground.

I don't think that would go over very well with the fanbase, players, & coaches.

Fanbase, players, and coaches wouldn't care.
