In ATL. Office has few saints fans. We are all somewhat confident this week. Last week felt like we had to go steal one from Rams. Not this week.

Meanwhile, the fear in the Falcon ranks is real. Very real. They dont talk about it in front of me, but I’m told that’s all they are talking about. First, UGA crapping the bed and now the Saints possibly taking a SB in their new dome.

This is worst than 28-3.

Im the same way. This team, although they arent playing with fireworks of offense like early in the year, knows how to win. This is a mentally strong team that can and has overcome to win games.

With the crowd, atmosphere, and experience I am just feeling this is our game.

Everyone at work keeps saying Saints are coming to Atlanta because they are either a) trying to jinx or b) just accepted that this will happen to them

AJC posts an article about how terrible New Orleans being in the superbowl would be every few days

Agreed. I just get the feeling that this team never panics and are tough as nails. I also feel they haven't played their best football in weeks.

Other than that frick the Falcons and their shitty fans. WhoDat!

If I were in the ATL (and much younger), I’d be tagging shite with “62-7”.

Opening Day of 1973 (September 16th)

12 year-old me listened to

on (probably) WGSO with Wayne Mack describing the debacle.

My big concern is that Talib is back and that the Rams will scheme to take Michael Williams out of the game.

I second this notion.

Good thing we don’t have anyone with that name

D. Orlando and those buffoons at the AJC need to take off their black and red glasses and realize how good of a thing it would be for the Saints to play in Atlanta. Ask yourself, how many non-ticket-holding fans from LA would go to Atlanta for the SB? Now ask yourself, how many non-ticket-ticket holding Saints fans would drive to Atlanta to spend money on SB festivities?

Wish I was confident. I think the Rams are better given the offense’s sluggish performances for two months and the injury to Rankins.

Bring on the downvotes and hopefully future thread bumps.

I have a weird feeling. It is the same exact weird, illogical confidence and complete absence of the normal anxiety that accompanies big games that I felt in '09 (and early '10 if we're being technical).

I don't understand it, but we know how that one ended. Here's hoping this one continues to mirror that one.

I think Goff gets raddled by the big stage and throws 3 picks. I am confident too which worries me but I was confident we would beat the Eagles too.

Be that as it may, it makes no difference if the football gods have already decided how this will end. I'm not saying they have, but for all I know they may have decided this one long ago.

I never even felt the least bit concerned down 14-0 last week. I don't know how to explain it but it feels like it's inevitable.

I didn't specify what it was, for anyone concerned about you-know-what.

Bold strategy to take a single fan out of the game. Really isn’t gonna impact crowd noise. They should probably focus on the players more

I hope so. That'll really open up things for Mike Thomas.

I’m not as confident as I was against the Eagles.

But I don’t have a bad feeling in my gut either like the Minnesota game last year. I just hope the offense can move the ball consistently. That’s all I want. If we can move it on them fairly successfully then I’ll feel a lot better during the game that the D will eventually get enough stops to win.

I was there with my dad. My first Saints game. Top row of Tulane Stadium.

I think it was 62-0 then we scored late.

I feel good about this game. I think the Saints will put the hurt on em in a decisive manner.

It will be akin the treatment that Bama received at the hands of Clemson.
