What if KC had lost 6 games and he has same stats would Mahomes still deserve it?

We're one bad Mahomes 2nd half from this narrative changing again

Yeah this discussion is far from over. That debate has literally swung drive to drive almost in various games. Last 3 games will tell a lot. Mahomes/Chiefs just lost the #1 seed.

ETA: I lied, KC has actually still holds the tiebreak it seems because of division record.

I really don’t care if Brees is the MVP. I thought he should’ve won it when he was the huge stats guy so I’m not going to backtrack and say the huge stats guy shouldn’t win it now. Mahomes played his arse off this year.

Criteria evolves in ways that never seem to favor Brees. If it was always about statistics, Brees would have won it already.

Considering your track record of shitty posting on here, you feeling something is dumb is probably a solid endorsement for an opinion being a valid one.

But no, I do not need a medal. Maybe I’m just posting on a messageboard without being an angry little man. Mahomes has had the better year IMO. I also though Drew had better years than manning and Rodgers. I got the argument for Rodgers and I get the argument for Brees this year. I wont be upset if mahomes wins it.

We have much bigger fish to fry than a stupid individual award.

Its Brees.

I'd rather him not win the MVP. The last MVP to actually go on and win the SB was Kurt Warner

Mahomes will win mvp and lose in the divisional round.

Brees wins super bowl mvp. It’s all good.

FIFY. Win over the Raiders not a given. Divisional rivalry, Chiefs D is in shambles, especially the secondary, (Berry did not practice today) and O keeps losing weapons. I could easily see a Chiefs choke job Sunday, which is Fat Andy's trademark!

Ehh Mahomes is 114 in QB rating and has like 900 more yards and SIXTEEN more touchdowns. That is in comparison to 6 more int. As far as the team stats we’ve literally pretty much as a board for years argued that it was bullshite that Brady and company were considered better than Drew because of having solid complimentary defenses despite not putting up the individual numbers our guy did. Well now our guy has the same team complimenting him (if not better) and while we’re having the team success that Drew has often lacked...we are also shitting on the guy who is doing Drew things elsewhere in mahomes.

Just kind of funny how willing so many are to jump to the other side of the coin when it benefits our guy.

Personally I think Drew should’ve gotten it earlier in his career several times as he was in fact the most valuable player on a lesser team. Just as mahomes is now.
