Nah, we're just not weak men like Drew that bows down to the mob.

This is the equivalent of the video of the black man making the medical worker kneel and apologize for her "white privilege" that was on social media.

Drew comes off looking very weak and like a coward in this situation. And I understand the amount of pressure he was facing, but he still ended up losing in this situation.

In the end he will have to live under his black teammates cloud of race-shaming comments. And the silent group in the locker room that agreed with his stance on kneeling during the NA will lose respect for him.

I would hate to be in his shoes right now. He has to feel like he took the cowards road to satisfy the loud minority in that locker room.

You’re not white.

I don't think taking a knee in silent protest during an awkward, forced showing of "patriotism", which is at least partially funded by the department of defense, is inherently disrespectful to the united states or the military or somehow unpatriotic. Neither he nor anyone else has some kind of monopoly on "true" patriotism. I'm waiting to see if he'll also call out the thousands upon thousands of drunk dipshits in the crowd at every one of his games that are talking, pissing, getting a beer or altogether not even acknowledging the anthem is even going on.
