We honestly can't afford for him to return.
He's had a stacked team for 2/3 years now. Next year will look a lot different and will require a playmaker at QB to make the playoffs.
It sucks, but this team can't succeed with him next year.

I agree that he's no longer top 10. The finale was his absolute worst game in black and gold (by a mile).

Drew smart enough to realize that physically he’s done. I’ll truly miss him but his era is over. Payton needs a quarterback & I expect a strong push for Dak or Deshaun regardless of the price.
