He single handedly brought this city a Championship. Payton helped along with others but no other QB would have thrived in Payton's system. Especially the other free agents that year. Im not even sure Brady could have won a Championship here.

Pierre Thomas and the linebackers were also huge contributors, but it probably doesn’t happen without Brees…

Lol Brady would’ve won multiple championships because he would’ve taken a team friendly deal. Tom’s body wasn’t falling apart like Brees. And Tom wouldn’t have choked in the playoffs over and over again like Brees
