Cause i think in BOTH cases it is an HR matter of saying things that offend coworkers and should be resolved internally. It is a employment policy issue, same as any business in America. If you work in a diverse environment than leave divisive opinions at home.
My personal opinion - Desean's words are hateful and he owes a deeper apology. He will certainly lose sponsorships. Its likely he will be released for this and i would not object. (Brees release was never an option - BTW). We likely wont have football this year anyway and Eagles have contract out at the end of this season. Bye Desean.

The argument was never "Drew should be able to say whatever" it was "Drew didnt say anything wrong"

In what world did we say that freedom of speech should be impeded? We simply stated that Drew said nothing wrong, then his teammates bashed him openly for over 24 hours while the organization did nothing to protect the most valuable asset they've ever had.
