Spencer Fano OT went to Cleveland with next pick. Think we could have used him

I hated the Tyson pick when it happened. A guy who never made a full college season and you don't think it's not going to be the same in the NFL? Tyson is going to be a complete bust.

It wouldn’t have mattered. We’d still be running for 1 yard a carry under slack jawed Kellen. We also have a LT already.

Not really. We could've drafted Fano at RT and moved Fuaga to RG. Could've finally moved on from Ruiz.

Thankfully he’ll be back in time to help us get to 3-5

Revisionism runs rampant here. And a tackle would play over who? drafting 3 tackles in 4 years.

I don’t know who he would play over, but it would be nice to have a 1st round pick available to play regardless of position.

Everyone connected to the Saints drafting Tyson needs to be fired tomorrow

And every Saints fan who applauded that draft pick needs to be removed from the Saints fan base

We are in the middle of a long arse rebuild due to a largely depleted roster. We’re not going to do much well.

I get it if they think Tyson is an elite prospect but at some point durability has to matter a bit.

Loomis thinks voodoo magic can heal injury prone players.

When we drafted Tyson my only concern was his injury history. Would he be able to stay healthy because he missed so much time in college? Saints need help at almost every position so a contributor at almost any position would be useful. We could have found a good healthy player besides an offensive tackle.

Stuff happens we took Marshon who had worst hamstrings and he turned out fine. It’s football it happens. Jeremiyah Love has missed time with ankle injuries. Jadarian Price is on IR. Rueben Bain has missed time. It’s football

Downs is a starter on the worst defense with arguably more talent. What is he changing about us not running the ball. We gave up 16 points. Your offensive head coach scored 10 points.

Fano would have been awesome looking back after the start of this season. I don't think the Oline was expected to play this poorly. Year 2 Banks, Year 3 Fuaga, David Edwards who was an established vet, and Erik McCoy was was a decent center. Perhaps replacing Ruiz but one weak link going into the season was a much better outlook, and they've fallen completely flat.

I am of the thought that this is moreso scheme-related than talent-related. All of these players have been worse since last year.
