he had low sack numbers but they think he has some pass rushing upside. He was quite disruptive last despite his numbers.

DT is too deep to take him at 12 though. I like him as a player but would flip my shite.

Want A'Shawn Robinson who is the most sure fire blue blood beast can't miss DT in the draft

Saints will probably over think it and take Rankins or Reed.

Rankins is more safe than A'Shawn to me.

Wow! Why all the hate for A'Shawn and Jarran? I watched them many times last year and they looked great. I expect A'Shawn to go in the teens and Jarran the mid 20s.

people are skeptical because:

A'Shawn is a physical specimen but his game film is a bit underwhelming.

Reed is strictly a run defense guy. He's amazing at that, but has no pass rush.

I think I'd rather Dodd over Lawson, don't really care for jack conklin

I imagine it'll be a DT or a corner though. Let's go with Hargreaves.

Want: Jack or Lawson
Not want: A.Robinson
Will be: Jackson III or Hargreaves

if what they are saying about Jack's knee is true then nevermind but people could also be floating stuff out there for the sake of doing it. If he's good to go then that's who I want the most no question about it. But making it to #12 should be tricky.

The more I read on Rankins the more I like. There are some comparisons to Sapp that I can see. Has the non-stop motor rep too. I'm really wanting a dynamic disruptive playmaker. I'm ready to deal with character concerns like Spence or injury issues like Jack or Lawson. Who can come in and defenses will have to account for?

IT'S EASY TO "LOOK GREAT" WHEN YOU'RE PLAYING NEXT TO OTHER NFL TALENT WHILE IN COLLEGE. The Bama DB's force the QB to hold the ball longer which allows the line to get to the QB more often.
It's difficult to sort this out while analyzing tape. When playing Obama you really can't double team one guy or the other one will make you pay.
If you play on a college "D" and you're the best player and you're beating double or triple teams, then you should do well in the NFL.

If you are an RB and you play for LSU and you run pretty good, you should succeed in the NFL. Why? Because everyone knows which play LSU is going to run. IF you have enough talent to do decent when the other defense knows the play you plan to run, then you can play in the NFL. The LSU RBs seems to be having more success than the Bama RBs. Baja RBs rarely face a stacked line like LSU RBs do.

Someone please explain the Rankins love? Guy seems low key which is great in Nola but convince me what will make him a playmaker on this defense.
