They must. It’s so predictable in these games where someone scores with very little time left and then the other team all of a sudden finds the greatest passing game they ever had, along with the other team finding the worst defense they have ever had. Field goal…or TD, the team that was down and scored “too early”, loses.

I know it’s probably great for TV ratings, but I really hate it and it makes me
want to not watch it anymore.

The only positive play the falcons had on the last drive was our idiot PI

And yes they love last second dramatic conclusions, so does everyone that didn’t lose

I mean with moving the starting field position to the 30 and with every nfl kicker having the leg to make 60+ yarder, you need 25 yards to get into fg range. Which is nothing.

20 seconds left is plenty of time. They absolutely like that aspect or else they would move the starting field position back or do something to make FGs more difficult

Yeah, they do. The dramatic last second heroic drives used to be a 3-4 time a season league-wide thing, now they're practically weekly.

I only watch the NFL because of the Saints but I don’t even watch most of the game. I’ll go do stuff while everybody else is watching the game and come back and catch the fourth quarter at this point the NFL is a very watered-down product that has taken its hard-core fans for granted and I hope one day, everyone wakes up and sees with the NFL has done to the game of football

As much as I hate Roger the Clown, the NFLOL, and the referees, none of them are to blame for our defense being incapable of sealing wins for us. That's on them.

Seems to happen quite often. Same old “script” repeated. Falcons get one big play via pass interference penalty then don’t move another inch and Koo drills it. Has this guy ever missed a FG against the Saints? Distance doesn’t faze this guy against Saints.

Insert pass interference call in the scenario which happens almost 90% of time if I had to guess

Well Sean Payton sure does; Jets missed game winning FG against Broncos as time expires.

I read they are thinking of moving the goal posts closer together; make it more narrow. The kickers have gotten too good.

yeah honestly you could probably make a killing live betting. When you go down with under 2 minutes left your odds go down dramatically to win yet wayyyy too often the team pulls it out for the epic entertainment finish. You would certainly finish in the money every year if you bet that situation religiously

The NFL has decided they want kick returns again. Kicking it out the back and giving them the 30 was fricking dumb.

Figure out of to drop a kickoff in that “must return” zone and go make a fricking tackle.

Drives should start at the 20 like it’s always been for a century.
