Some people know what DC really is.

It was another church service where Derek claimed he was carrying the Raiders, "Franchises are heavy", and then had the audacity to brag about being Christian enough to "forgive them".
LINK

He doesn't like being held accountable. Before Josh McDaniels showed up, Derek fumbled more than any other QB in the league. Here's an example of him dropping the football in his own end zone, ON PURPOSE, just to break his own fall.
LINK

Incidenatally, after that game, Derek proudly proclaimed he "left 110% on the field". No Derek, the only thing you left on the field was the fkn football.

Josh no doubt saw that (it was against his team, the Pats at the time), and called him out on ball security, among other things.
LINK

quote:

One of the team's players told me: "I had never heard Derek spoken to like Josh did. He didn't drop F-bombs, or ridicule him, but film sessions with Josh are brutal."

They said: "While many of the players were maybe tired with the length of the McDaniels' film reviews, I think we all loved that he was consistent."

While Carr was no stranger to criticism from a coach, often time according to one member of the organization: "He has never had his mail read in front of the entire team like that."

In addition, they said: "Josh calls everyone out. It is why everyone talks about him being consistent. He would call out coaches, players, I mean hell, he even called out the people that bring water out on a timeout for not getting it out there quick enough."

As one person said: "The Patriot way of mindlessly going over every detail is now the Raider way. Josh is fair, he will call out a player, and a coach. That is not good for some people."

I asked them how they felt that impacted Derek: "He holds the ball and touches the ball on half of the plays every game. Of course he got ripped more than anyone, he was the guy who touched the ball more than anyone. I think he felt that McDaniels was unfairly putting everything on him."

I shared the sentiments above with one of Derek's best friends on the team, who said: "I can see that. Looking back, I do not think Josh was too hard on Derek; I don't think he had taken such blunt force criticism in front of the team like that, and I think he was hurt."

In Gutierrez's book, If These Walls Could Talk, [Lincoln] Kennedy, a Raiders' team employee, said of the then-team franchise quarterback: "I like Derek. I think he is a nice guy. Don't get me wrong, but he can be childish and immature, and if somebody says something bad about him, he sulks, like a little boy who takes his ball and goes into the corner…"

He did it to the Raiders. He's doing it to the Saints.

Strangely, as much as I disliked McDaniels, Carr quit fumbling the football after his arrival.

Then there was the time he played like absolute dog shite vs. the Colts, the week Jeff Saturday took over, the Raiders were embarrassed and lost big, mainly because of Derek's play, and he stood on the podium, balled his eyes out, and proceeded to throw the whole Raider locker room under the bus... "sniff sniff... I just wish the whole locker room loved the Raiders as much as I do... sniff sniff".

Derek Carr is a self-absorbed, narcissistic punk hiding under a halo and a golly gee facade.

Some of us aren't fooled.

Some of you guys are just taking out your frustration on Carr. I’m happy we’re moving on, but the guy isn’t evil incarnate

Evil incarnate? Nah. Just an immature, unaccountable, unresponsible, throws his teammates under the bus, fraudulent, anything to make himself look good twat. And makes hundreds of millions doing it.

I'm a Raider fan BTW, so what he does to the Saints doesn't frustrate me in the least. Just sharing what I know after putting up with this dude for 9 years. Take it or leave it.

Lol I remember I used to pity the Raiders for being stuck with DC. There’s nothing worse than being stuck with a qb that’s decent enough to “look the part” and not lose his job; but he isn’t actually a good football player who can win games.

Most of the face painters on here don’t watch any other football outside of the saints so they’re just ignorant. It was so hard trying to convince this board how bad Carr is. It’s been a tough few years because I have to look at all this stupid positivity surrounding Derek while also knowing how garbage he is. And then when you question anything he does the “good fans” on here crucify you.

Now it’s really funny to watch the face painters turn all their toxic anger towards Carr. The truly hate him down to the core, attacking everything about him even though he’s really just a low IQ dork who isn’t great at football.

Haha that's the thing man, he does have a lot of natural talent, has a great arm, will play a great game now and then, and then 3 or 4 stinkers in a row. Seems like he only plays when he feels like it, but because of the good games, people buy it when he blames everyone else. This is what made him undoubtedly the most polarizing player in Raiders history. Wins 7 or 8 games, keeps your hopes up, but also keeps you in QB purgatory because you can't replace him. There are Raider fans who still adore this guy, and I just don't get it. Shite, we still argue about him. LOL I just can't stand a liar or a fraud, and he's both.

Carr has pissed me off so much that I seriously cannot even follow the Saints. I mean Loomis is complete shite and is the icing on the shitcake.

Thank God I grew up in Philly or else I wouldn't follow football at all. If Loomis was even a small fraction of who Howie Rose is then this frick (Carr) would've been kicked to the curb.
