re: When will Carr make a decision on surgery?

The raiders did it strictly because they were moving on and would've owed him money if he got any kind of injury at the facility.
That's part of it, but per NFLPA rules a team is not allowed to send him home. He still could have held a clipboard on the sideline. He was pouting after getting benched for dogshite play. Took his ball and went home like the entitled b!tch he is.
Haha that's the thing man, he does have a lot of natural talent, has a great arm, will play a great game now and then, and then 3 or 4 stinkers in a row. Seems like he only plays when he feels like it, but because of the good games, people buy it when he blames everyone else. This is what made him undoubtedly the most polarizing player in Raiders history. Wins 7 or 8 games, keeps your hopes up, but also keeps you in QB purgatory because you can't replace him. There are Raider fans who still adore this guy, and I just don't get it. Shite, we still argue about him. LOL I just can't stand a liar or a fraud, and he's both.
Evil incarnate? Nah. Just an immature, unaccountable, unresponsible, throws his teammates under the bus, fraudulent, anything to make himself look good twat. And makes hundreds of millions doing it.
I'm a Raider fan BTW, so what he does to the Saints doesn't frustrate me in the least. Just sharing what I know after putting up with this dude for 9 years. Take it or leave it.

This is a really terrible board and confirms my opinion about pro football fans.
Carry on.
Some people know what DC really is.
It was another church service where Derek claimed he was carrying the Raiders, "Franchises are heavy", and then had the audacity to brag about being Christian enough to "forgive them".
LINK
He doesn't like being held accountable. Before Josh McDaniels showed up, Derek fumbled more than any other QB in the league. Here's an example of him dropping the football in his own end zone, ON PURPOSE, just to break his own fall.
LINK
Incidenatally, after that game, Derek proudly proclaimed he "left 110% on the field". No Derek, the only thing you left on the field was the fkn football.
Josh no doubt saw that (it was against his team, the Pats at the time), and called him out on ball security, among other things.
LINK
quote:
One of the team's players told me: "I had never heard Derek spoken to like Josh did. He didn't drop F-bombs, or ridicule him, but film sessions with Josh are brutal."
They said: "While many of the players were maybe tired with the length of the McDaniels' film reviews, I think we all loved that he was consistent."
While Carr was no stranger to criticism from a coach, often time according to one member of the organization: "He has never had his mail read in front of the entire team like that."
In addition, they said: "Josh calls everyone out. It is why everyone talks about him being consistent. He would call out coaches, players, I mean hell, he even called out the people that bring water out on a timeout for not getting it out there quick enough."
As one person said: "The Patriot way of mindlessly going over every detail is now the Raider way. Josh is fair, he will call out a player, and a coach. That is not good for some people."
I asked them how they felt that impacted Derek: "He holds the ball and touches the ball on half of the plays every game. Of course he got ripped more than anyone, he was the guy who touched the ball more than anyone. I think he felt that McDaniels was unfairly putting everything on him."
I shared the sentiments above with one of Derek's best friends on the team, who said: "I can see that. Looking back, I do not think Josh was too hard on Derek; I don't think he had taken such blunt force criticism in front of the team like that, and I think he was hurt."
In Gutierrez's book, If These Walls Could Talk, [Lincoln] Kennedy, a Raiders' team employee, said of the then-team franchise quarterback: "I like Derek. I think he is a nice guy. Don't get me wrong, but he can be childish and immature, and if somebody says something bad about him, he sulks, like a little boy who takes his ball and goes into the corner…"
He did it to the Raiders. He's doing it to the Saints.
Strangely, as much as I disliked McDaniels, Carr quit fumbling the football after his arrival.
Then there was the time he played like absolute dog shite vs. the Colts, the week Jeff Saturday took over, the Raiders were embarrassed and lost big, mainly because of Derek's play, and he stood on the podium, balled his eyes out, and proceeded to throw the whole Raider locker room under the bus... "sniff sniff... I just wish the whole locker room loved the Raiders as much as I do... sniff sniff".
Derek Carr is a self-absorbed, narcissistic punk hiding under a halo and a golly gee facade.
Some of us aren't fooled.
Lol who is this guy? I like him.
(Pardon me... Who Dat?)

Why? So he can beat the shite out of you?
Derek Carr is entirely too afraid of contact to find himself in a scuffle. My money would be on Islandboy777.

Did I mention his weird cult-like following? He'll be a televangelist I just know it. Only then he'll be stealing money from poor gullible common folks instead of billionaires.
Raider fan here, I’d like to chime in on this one if I may.
Derek joined the Raiders saying all the right things and even spouted off about his “Mamba mentality” (Kobe Bryant reference). Some of us realized quickly it was nothing but hot air.
Mr. Checkdown. Over and over again, I’d see him throw at the LOS while there was a wide open receiver downfield. He panics, would rather get the quick completion. Improves his %.
Three times we saw him throw the ball away on 4th down, once on 4th and game. Rather than give a teammate a shot, threw it in the dirt or the stands. He doesn’t want to risk an INT on his stat line.

We saw him drop to the ground before anyone was near him time and again.
LINK
The rest of the league saw it too.
LINK
Slid 8 yards in front of a defender, with a blocker out front.
LINK
Clean pocket and panics.
LINK
Not once, but twice… this.
LINK
LINK
Then came the absolutely inexcusable. At least twice, I saw him let go of the football just to break his own fall. This one in his own end zone, which turned a safety into a TD the other way. THIS was proof positive he’s all about himself, and nothing but a flaming puss. Watch the slow mo at the end. No doubt. Mamba mentality my a$$.
LINK
When the Raiders benched him after an absolute dog sh*t showing by him vs. the Steelers, rather than grab a clipboard and help the team, he went home to pout. I see he’s pulling the same stunt with the Saints. He’s butthurt they are looking at QBs.
Ater the Raiders dumped him, he went in front of his family church and claimed he was carrying the Raiders. “Franchises are heavy!” Met with applause and the pity he was looking for. Never mind the fact he “carried” us to nowhere.
He takes NO accountability for anything. Always everyone else’s fault as he puts on a born again Christian act under his shiny halo. “The Fresno Fraud” is a name fully earned. In 50 years of football fandom, I have never actually hated a football player, until Derek Carr came along. Be thankful you won’t have to put up with 9 years of this dude.
PS, You think his Youtube car videos are douchey? Check this out…
