I haven't paid attention to Wilson, but he was talked about being one of the elite quarterbacks in the league.

Been a while since Wilson was elite. He also had a great D and running game to lean on.

Yet we’re still basing our offense off of his archaic style. His offense has been figured out since 2018

I think he's still a good leader, but his play calling is not good and he still makes impulsive / dumb decisions that are often wrong during the course of the game.
He's probably not quite Mike Ditka in 1997-1999, but he's probably closer to that than he his to the boy genius Payton from 2006.
