Can anybody find that quote that Loomis made during the off-season about referencing Tom Landry and Chuck knoll, and Belichick?

“Chuck Noll his first three years: 1-13, 5-9, 6-8. They recognized he's a good football coach. Bill Belichick, his first three years: 6-10, 7-9, 7-9. Tom Landry: 0-11, 4-9, 5-8, 4-10, 5-8. All of them Hall of Fame coaches. The easy thing is to blame them.”
Add in a few gum smacks

Not gonna get any better as long as Mickey is the GM. And Gayle isn't firing him. Best we can hope for is for him to be promoted to President and hire someone else for the GM job. Otherwise I don't see anything getting better anytime soon

Dennis Allen: 26-52 (.333)
Marion Campbell: 34-80-1 (.300)
Joe Bugel: 24-56 (.300)
If he goes 2-15 to finish the season, he has a chance to go to 26-61 (.298).
He breaks these fine coaches record on his way to becoming a HOF coach.

You guys really need to learn to look past the results

Well at this point we might as well let him get the record.

While I agree that Loomis and Gayle are a BIG part of the problem, I think it’s untrue that a new coach can’t change things. It just has to be someone with strong opinions about how to run the organization and who can also get immediate results on the field.
It’s hard to find but they do exist. Loomis got lucky with Payton and our only choice is to try to find that again.

Anyone else clicked the link expecting to see at least 1 other former Saints coach?
And unless this team wins the at least 2 of the next 3 (or DA gets fired), he is 3 games away from being the 2nd worst HC with 81 or more games.
Bugel only coached 80 and finished at .300, but DA has the opportunity to pass these top tier HoF worthy HCs
John McKay - 133 games with an all-time winning percentage of .335
Walt Kiesling - 90 games with an all-time winning percentage of .356
Dan Henning - 112 games with an all-time winning percentage of .334
Romero Crennel - 95 games with an all-time winning percentage of .337
Don't know their respective records at 81 games, but at least we get to watch history through this misery.
Edit: I made the HoF joke above without realizing that Kiesling actually is in the HoF, from playing days obviously
