re: Dalton played two of the worst defenses in the league. Not convinced he's the guy.

The fricking lock down defense that we all thought we had is suspect.

. A healthy Jameis in this offense is better than dalton.

Lol no it isn't. He is not calling the plays. It is not his offense.
You are one dumb motherfricker if you don't think pete carmichael is calling payton's plays.
Just watch the game. Same exact plays as last year.

You are one dumb motherfricker if you think having a playbook is all you need to run Sean's offense.
Using Sean's plays does not equal Sean's offense.
Situational management, personnel decisions, etc. All make up an offense. Not just plays.
This is not Sean's offense. It is Pete carmichaels with Sean's plays. That's it

You’re all a bunch of pussies.

Winston is garbage. Our offense ran much better with Dalton under center with a lot less talent around him. Hopefully when Winston moves onto another team you'll go with him.

In jameis one healthy game he put up better numbers than dalton in both of his starts. I prefer to have neither at this point, but out of the two jameis is better. It's merely a matter of data that folks don't want to see.
What game was this? Not Atlanta, because he was atrocious for 3 quarters until they stopped blitzing and went to a prevent style defense.

Dalton distributes the ball better than JW. Honestly, this offense is better and slightly less predictable with Dalton.
Also, I hate watching JW take off running and can pick up the 1st down but decides to throw some wild azz pass at the last minute that ends up being wildly incomplete...LOL

Seemed to work just fine yesterday. Did Sean come back for one game?

Pete finally called one good game out of 5.
It also helps playing one of the worst defenses in the league.

The entire offense was bad. Even with that jameis had better numbers at the end of the game. Everybody acts like it was zone all day but jameis made great throws against man coverage too (the fade to Thomas and the two tds were all man)

Winston probably gonna return vs raiders is my guess
Winston needs to get very healthy for the playoffs.
He can play Tiddlywinks on a manhole cover with Michael Thomas until they are both fully recovered.

Burrow was completing 70% of his passes the first three games back. They started 5-2.
Watson had 6 career starts coming off his ACL on a team that went 4-12 the year before (he won 3 of the games)
You’re making shitty excuses for a guy who is out of excuses

Jameis started 5-2 last year with dogshit for weapons. I'm asking for two full games of health. At most. Jameis did not get that after his acl.

Jameis took over an 8-9 team that added a shitty playcaller and lost its best coach. They have an assistant hc for a head coach now.
You're the one being disingenuous with your arguments

Winston started an ugly 5-2 despite completing 59% of his passes and having no offensive rhythm. It’s the same type of ball we saw this season expect the turnovers make you a losing squad. No room for error
Despite Dalton’s limitations he keeps the offense moving. The flow is night and day. I don’t care about potential or upside or arm strength. We don’t have any more time to wait on this guy. He had his chance

Just so we’re clear, when you say “the guy” are you saying:
-franchise/starting QB medium/long term
or
-starter for this season
Because I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt he is not the former and never had any chance to be. He was not signed to be. I guarantee no one on the team sees a long term future with Dalton in any capacity.
This season though, maybe. If they seriously think Winston’s bad play had to do with his injury, maybe he’s worth going back to.

Dalton has obvious limitations. Any throws to the far hash are scary. He does process the defense well but he can't stretch the field at all.

We lacked a lot of talent at the wr position. Even with Jarvis and Mike out olave is legit and even looks like a true wr1. Yesterday's offense flowed well because we used a frick ton of taysom on the proper downs and less Ingram.

Agreed. I think he fits pretty well with our personnel just because we are pretty well optimized for short passing. But the offense could really use the vertical element
