Promising, but I'd rather see a more sustained running game and not having to play from behind so much in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
But don't get me wrong. Its nice to have a QB that you can count on to air it out to get you back into the game.

I just looked this up on Statmuse, and Shough looks to be 19th at 3,060 yards in his first 13 games. Mahommes is 1st at 4,207 yards.
As far a completion percentage by QBs that actually started he looks to be 7th. Mac Jones threw for 70% his first 13 games.

I find it hysterical that after the first half of his first season opening start of his career, half of this board were calling for his head.
There isn't a QB not named Josh Allen I'd rather have leading New Orleans. He's a good dude that really has ingrained himself into New Orleans, just like Drew Brees did.
Whether he leads us to a championship or not, I really like the way he handles himself.

You can even keep Josh Allen because Shough has one MAJOR thing over him, and that's the ability to play his best with the chips down and the game on the line. Allen has been a choke artist in the playoffs when it matters most.

There isn’t a QB in the last six drafts I’d take above him and I don’t think that’s even that hot a take.
Williams/Maye/Purdy/Lawrence/Daniels/Nix are his competition. I’m sure fans of those teams (except maybe Washington) would take their guy over Shough but I think most of those guys success is because of their coaching and organizational support (Williams/Purdy/Lawrence/Nix especially) instead of the QB being the catalyst.

My favorite part is the Shough receipts. Its funny to go back to the idiots on social media and youtube and watch the crying about Shough over Sanders, then they act like they didnt say what they said.
