Sorry if German's, but I had no clue.
He Hung Up On Us!!!!
On the bright site, we ended picking a future pro bowl tackle!!! Karma is a beech!

That was pretty well documented after the draft. I'd love to have him and he'd probably take this defense from very good to elite, but I think Brees would be dead without the Ram pick.

It would have been a win-win either way.

In hindsight it worked for us because Strief got hurt. Foster is killing it though.

He hung up on us because the 9ers picked before us.

the only way this past draft could have gone better would have been:
Shaquill Griffin instead of Alex Anzalone
Carl Lawson instead of Trey Hendrickson

2016 was also pretty damn good

3 plus starters
- Rankins
- Thomas
- Crawley

2 average starters
- Bell
- Onyemata

Another one of those in 2018 and we're set

Exactly. I always get confused when people bring this up like he dissed us. Could he have politely explained that he had another call and had to hang up? Sure, but i'm willing to give him a pass given the magnitude of the moment

I can't believe how far he fell in the draft. I hope something similar happens this year with Roquan Smith and he falls to us.

If his explainiation is accurate he acted like a huge douche and very unporfessional.

Honestly, who wouldn't want to be a millionaire in the bay area. It's not like he hung up on us for Detroit.

The front office is extremely excited about Anazlone. He got hurt but they expected him to do really well this year. We will see what happens in 2018 with him.

This. If Streif doesn't get hurt we are probably all lamenting how great it would have been to have Foster at LB next to Klien or Robertson (who has played very well). Still, you generally can get more mileage out of a Tackle than a LB. Particularly one with some injury concerns coming out of college.

The other "what if" scenario is what if the Saints would have traded the pick for Butler? Do they take Lattimore if Butler is already on board? Or, the Saints could have taken Lattimore and gone from nothing at CB to flush with talent.

Because of the way things have worked out thus far it doesn't look like there was a wrong decision to be made. Any of the three players would have really helped this team

He has 10 more tackles than T'eo does. That gap wouldn't justify Foster being a better pickup for us than Ram. I think it worked out for us.

T'eo has looked a lot better than i thought he would. Better than Anthony for sure.

Yeah we wanted Mahommes at 11 and Foster at 32.

I’d say we came out worlds ahead with the picks we made

I would love to have him but I think we came out better overall with the picks we got.

I don’t understand getting butt hurt over him hanging up. It’s not like he was being a dick. He got another call from another NFL team that was picking him. He hung up because he was just picked and wanted to celebrate I’m sure. No reason to get all mad about it.
