I’m sure no one feels worse than foster. He would probably catch that 9/10 times. That shite happens. Came down to that play. But there were lots of other bad plays too. Like the other 3 in that series when goal to go.

Moreau dropped it because he knew Grupe would miss the extra point to tie the game.

In a vacuum sure. In front of 60k people including everyone I’ve known my whole life and with a bunch of dudes twice my size looking to take my head off? Who knows

perfect. As wide open as he was you didn’t need to lead him and make him extend for it.
yes you do still need to lead him. Moreau is running full speed. You absolutely still lead him if not it ends up behind him. Also, he didn’t have to extend like he did. He got nervous and leaped for no reason

On the plus side, him dropping this is helping us get a better draft pick, and hopefully speeds up the process of getting rid of this coaching staff

The 2 aren’t mutually exclusive. Moreau could/should have caught it but it was not a “perfect” pass, it was a little high, note how he’s jumping and his arms are outstretched.

He is jumping and stretching his arms because he got scared of contact and stopped running and is trying to hold his body back. If he continues normally it’s quite literally a perfect pass

Well he decided to to a little cute jump for no reason. You pick whatever reason you want. All he had to do was take another stride

Not perfect at all but yeah, should be caught by a pro. The throw to Shaheed in the EZ was much worse and he hauled that in.

It’s one of the easier TD catchers an NFL pass catchers will ever have. Every single one of them in the NFL, and probably college, would tell you the same thing. Moreau would be right at the top of the list too.

He was visibly upset on the sideline for a reason.

The pass was a 9.5 out of 10.

The catch was a 0 out of 10

There is absolutely no reason to even mention the pass. It it wasn’t an lsu guy it wouldn’t be happening
