If I was a professional and that was what I was paid to do as my only job, you’re God Damn right I’d catch that pass

If I don’t…..I’d be fired tomorrow.

If he hadn’t jumped so early because he has the nerves of a 12 year old girl, it really would’ve been easy. Never would’ve had to leave his feet

As is, still should’ve caught it

Certainly HAS to catch it. But not perfect. As wide open as he was you didn’t need to lead him and make him extend for it. But again, has to be caught.

Id estimate tight ends in the league catch that ball 80-90% of the time.

Should he have caught it absolutely.

Could it have been a better pass... Probably

That pic doesn’t really do it justice. He was running one way and had to adjust on the fly and kind of jump.

Don’t get me wrong, he def should have caught it, but Carr was clean in the pocket and that was his primary read. Throw should have been better.

The one thing I haven’t seen is Carrs perspective. There was a Jag lineman kind of in his vision and maybe it actually was a smart / safe throw to ensure that it wasn’t tipped, ,and we just haven’t seen that angle yet.

Carr was clean but did have to throw over 2 defenders. This is on dumb LSU player. Should have been caught

I think Moreau heard footsteps from the guy that broke off the receiver he was covering

I would have liked to see the ball have a higher apex. More dropping it in a bucket at the back pylon if you will. A throw every QB practices. Carr put to much heat on it.

But, I understand Carr was under distress and nervous about not getting the ball out. Peat was on skates for crist sakes. He had no time.

It was a tough catch made more difficult by a hot throw. Foster is paid to catch those however. Hopefully the guys can execute better moving forward.

If you look at the first picture alone, I wouldn’t conceive of anyway that ball is not caught.

Not to mention the pressure of feeling like he had to stay in play. I bet that kept him from going all out for it

Should be caught 99 times out of 100.

No freaking excuses. His blocks at the goal line on a Kamara run was blown up by a smaller DB. Terrible game.

Don't recall him having to adjust at all. It was almost as if he was not expecting the pass as he slowed a bit.

He just dropped it. It happens. In all honesty even if he tied the game, the way this team has played this season, did you expect them to win it? Lot of issues and miscues besides dropped TD by your backup TE.

This thread gives me an idea. Chicken should put together a TD combine. Let some of these "athletes" showcase their skill. I would pay NFL Sunday Ticket money to watch that ppv.

The one thing I'll say is those WR gloves are STICKY as heck. I couldn't believe how easy it was to catch with them on when I wore my nephews out at the park one day.

I think a lot of us are thinking about catching that pass with bare hands like in our high school days in 2000 or something. When you have those gloves on and the big arse hands of a 6-4 guy, you really should catch that 95 times out of 100 as a professional.

Carr didn’t work with Davante Adams, so why would anyone expect this cat to catch the ball.

There is no excuse as a professional athlete to drop that ball.

One thing after another, this team finds ways to infuriate me.
