PFF grades for Fortner have been decent, 5th in pass blocking and 10th overall which was surprising

If McCoy could play guard and replace Ruiz I'd be down for Fortner staying at center. Doesn't seem to be that much a of a drop off and I'd rather have a good center and good guard than a great center and shitty guard.

Availability is the best ability. McCoy is a warrior, but the dude ends up on IR every season.

The entire OL played solid against Tampax.

The game winning TD run from Shough.. It looked like the entire TB defensive line came thru Ruiz's gap on that play

Overall from what ive seen with ruiz, he just gets bullied against decent interior D linemen.

All I know is the Saints will look at both FAs and the draft to improve the depth at the center position due to McCoys injuries the last two years. Healthy he's a great starter to have.

That was one of loomis' best trades.

Player trade for that little fat, short Khalen Saunders.

Saunders was a weird signing to begin with.
