It's arrogance. He's convinced he's the best play caller in the history of football. A run there, at minimum, makes them take their final TO even if you have to kick a FG.

I just don’t get it. Run it twice and if you have a short 3rd and goal throw it. Even if we scored there they still would have 1:20 left and a time out.
