If we are going into a rebuild mode around what we think is a generational QB, then I can see it. WR worries me more than anything as I think RBs can fit the saints system pretty well with less drop off.

Davenport was the second rated DE, who most mocks had going in the middle of the first round after he shot up the draft boards. The Saints needed a DE. He wasn't really going out on a limb there.

You really think a trade like that, which would be one of the biggest draft trades in league history, shite one of the biggest trades in NFL history, would be leaked to Coach Pete...a personal trainer that works in and out of the facility but does not work anywhere close to the FO?
If such a trade were being discussed....only Payton, Ireland and Loomis would know anything about it. That’s it. I could see a move up in the draft being leaked to him somehow but a deal like this? No way. You guys are giving this guy attention like that hack BSPN on Twitter

BS everyone was shocked when Davenport was the pick. Most people were saying the trade up was for Lamar Jackson. That's why the guy is some kind of legend on Saintsreport

Because everyone in ST has their own minds made up of who the Saints should draft. Most every analyst said it was costly to move up but that Davenport actually “fell” in the draft. He was a first round pick by nearly anyone with a brain. You’re an idiot and always have been.

Joe Burrow is the most NFL Ready QB we've seen in quite some time. Tutoring would be nice but Burrow would be an upgrade at this point.

The guy on SR supposedly knows Davenport's family, so all he needed to jump to that conclusion is to hear that the Saints had talked to him.

Can you clowns read? He was a strength and conditioning coach in Texas that has multiple contacts to professional and collegiate teams. He also rehabs professional athletes. That's were his info comes from. I personally find this current info hard to believe but I am not going to dismiss this guys credentials especially after he has given out accurate info before.
