Are those the details he is speaking about.

Seems like the WR's are not playing up to their talent.

Olave ran at 80% towards the end of the half and missed a TD

Thomas is gaining nearly 0 yards after the catch, and he endzone target looked like he needed to come back towards the middle instead of straight up the seem.

Shaheed looked pretty good and connected on a nice TD.

Shaheed is easily the most explosive player on the roster. He needs to be getting 5+ targets and a rush or two every single game.

Just get the ball into his hands.

for a guy that was promoted with the idea of keeping the culture the same, its a total fail

the team has often just seemed completely disinterested in crucial games.

I think he was expecting AK to leak out, but AK was sucked into the pass rush trying to keep Carr alive. Looked like DA was bitching about AK being held up, then started requesting the 10 second runoff.

Edit: He was definitely yelling at either MT or PC. AK & Hill were in max protection (Hill ended up with no one to block). Shaheed sprinted out of frame, MT jogged up the field as if he was expecting a running play. So, either Carr was bitching at lack of effort, or the play design w/ no dump offs.

I think they’re trying but it would help if he ran the right routes which he a couple times yesterday didn’t do. Despite that he still had a good game.

That culture left with Brees and Payton and we replaced them with Carr and DA. Two guys who have no playoff experience or significant winning to their resume. Players/coaches won’t respect or fear that. Hence you have the culture we have.

This culture took a turn the moment Drew Brees expressed his feelings toward the flag. He was forced to apologize JUN of 2020. Thomas came up "injured" the following season, Brees retired. Sean tried to go on with Winston, but say it wasn't going to work and retired.

My conspiracy theory is that he knew Winston wasn't it, but coming off the heels of the Kaepernick drama, the ownership (possibly NFL?) wanted a black QB to avoid negative criticism. So, instead of placating, he retired, leaving DA and PC to deal with the bull shite.

its a bit of all the WR taking plays off and not pressing.

as we saw on the deep ball, carr is still hurt and cant throw it very deep, so the WR are taking it easy and not even trying hard if they arent the #1 target.

many of the throw aways are because the 2nd and 3rd reads werent pressing their routes and were half assing it

“ as we saw on the deep ball, carr is still hurt and cant throw it very deep, so the WR are taking it easy and not even trying hard if they arent the #1 target. ”

- this is false. Carr had no issues throwing it deep this game- he said himself he feels the best hes felt since the injury. The WRs are taking it easy because he cant throw deep- what kind of dumb logic is that???!!

By the way all this falls down to coaching and culture. The fact they’re doing this in games and dont give a shite is why this staff is horrendous.

What I don't understand is that they are not inserting Jimmy Graham into the game more. He is a match up nightmare on safeties and the few times they've put him in and thrown to him proved that out. I know he's not the Jimmy Graham of old, but he has not been used anywhere like that since he was at Seattle.

Its a lack of maximizing your personnel. Again a coaching issue. Carmicheal abysmal play calling and creativity along with DA not holding the offense accountable and his non interest on that side of the ball. Throughout the game how many times do you see DA interact with the QB or any offensive players?? Almost never. Meanwhile Tomlin or even Belicheck who were defensive coaches are actively engaged with their qb and offensive players. DA wants to be head coach but have no responsibility over the offense. Thats absurd.

Shaheed needs to be wr1 going forward

Olave has quit on routes and pouted.

Thomas hasn't looked like himself and didn't fight for the ball.

I wonder if they are like this since the offense is in the shitter. Is it just Pete they are mad at?

Something is definitely going on.

When people do something stupid they usually try to blame someone else for their own mess up. He got scared and threw away the ball. He threw the ball behind the line of scrimmage. When is MT ever not down the field. He should’ve been mad at Pete for not leaking a rb.

Also that deep ball was horrific. Looked like a punt. Carr seems to be late on reads as well as just missing reads. Why dump the ball short to Kamara on 4th down when you have 3 wide receivers stacked to the left. He didn’t even look their way smh
