Carr has played the easiest schedule in the league. His defense has carried him to one more win.

This is not relevant until the season is over, IMO.

Then we can discuss if we should have stuck with a mediocre backup as our starting QB for a much better price than we paid for someone who appears to be a low-end starter.

You could also say grupe cost him one or two games. His injury also cost him the green bay game.

Carr is what he us. Not great, but good enough to win with the offensive talent.

He is really, really missing juwan Johnson. The o line has been terrible.

I do kind of agree that the Saints would be in a similar position with Dalton.

Good thing is Carr is only signed for 2 Yeats and 70 mil. So the Saints can get out of his deal after the 2024 season if need be.

I said all offseason that this wasn't a smart move. I didn't think Carr's results would be this bad but I didn't figure it would be an improvement worth $30 million.

Carr has much better weapons with worse results than Dalton.

Dalton was good last year I never got the hate. And I wanted Carr. Still hopeful things get better, mates.

You can shite on which ever player you feel like shitting on but in reality you should be shitting on the whole team because Andy Dalton wouldn't have those stats behind the 2023 Saints Oline.

Period.

And yea maybe they're the same players, but they ain't the same players and that can not even be argued.

People knocked Dalton but I always argued that Dalton was all DA needed. A "better" QB wasnt going to fix this mess.

Seems kind of pricy for one game

Of course in our division, that may mean being able to lose in the first round of the playoffs.

Hopefully, something will happen magically to correct the scoring woes we have had.

I'm not holding my breath, however.

I’m not gonna bash Carr here, as I still have some hope.

But Dalton was definitely not as bad as a lot of people thought. He surely wasn’t great, but he was serviceable.

I honestly think we’d be 4-2 right now with Dalton.
