Carmichael is one of the favorites for the Green Bay Job

A couple months ago I was roasted on here for saying Carmichael deserves a shot at an HC position.
I speak the truth. This guy deserves a shot. He has learned under one of the best coaches in the NFL for many years now and is a decent play caller in his own right.

He does not strike me as the guy with the right personality to be a head coach. Seems like a classic behind the scenes type of guy.
But, he deserves it.

I agree with this especially dealing with Rodgers. If he can run McCarthy off just imagine the leeway hes going to have with Carmichael.

It would be great for him to get a head coach opportunity. Green Bay is a top job. I hope he gets it.

I wouldn’t say one of the favorites. I’d think Josh McDaniels, Jim Harbaugh for faves ....Don’t count out Joe Philbin if they go 3-1 or 4-0. The unassuming personality of Carmichael may not bode well with the overpowering personality of Aaron Rodgers. I’d rather see him go somewhere where he can be more successful. And yes very Deserving, just not sure what his ambitions or next steps will be.
