Laell Collins
Tyrann Mathieu for starters
Umm every team passed on Collins then he chose his team after the draft, so it wasn't just the Saints.
Vaccaro was the higher rated safety in the draft and the Saints took him. Not sure why these two get brought up all the time. Using hindsight from this long ago is complete bullshite. Mathieu fell to 69, Vaccaro was rated as a first round pick.

Not an exhaustive list, but here are some of the past Saints picks that were made before AJ lsu player was selected not long after.
Roman Harper in front of Andrew Whitworth
Kenny Vaccaro over Eric Reid
Stanley JB over Jarvis Landry
Garret Grayson over Danielle Hunter
Kamrin Moore over Russell Gage
Cesar Ruiz over Patrick Queen
Cesar Ruiz over CEH
Trautman over Saadihh Charles
Would have certainly passed on Marshall right before Werner

don't know what logic it will be for an nfl head coach to have a bias against a particular university.
When they come after your staff more than once, there’s your logic

Yea but that’s not doing anything to the university or the player. They are going to get drafted whether we pick them or not.

Just a few minutes on google. Everyone is acting like it’s never happened before. Here’s some examples.

Seems like you're more obsessed than the people you are accusing of being obsessed, mate

The trouble with your list is except for Vacarro/Ried, they all play different positions.
The most players LSU had drafted in one year was 15 in 2020 that means at least 17 teams also passed on LSU players.
Everyone complaining about bias is also biased

A lot of it are these Saints “fans” who hate LSU themselves for one reason or another (Bama/Tulane fans, Nola people too cool for the rest of the state) so they were fine with it.
On the other hand you have LSU fans who can’t separate their college fandom from their NFL one. To be point where a number of them were cheering for a division rival to win the SB in the Bucs just because they had more LSU players. Some LSU-Saints fans took several years to warm up to Ingram because he played for Bama.
Despite being a Bama fan I still wanted a former Auburn player in Nick Fairley to be a beast when he played here. I still hope Honey Badger can be an All-Pro. I don’t give a frick where some guy played college ball.

People have been saying this for years
The Saints have been among the top 5 most winning franchises in the entire league under SP. Clearly talent isn’t the issue. Yeah they only won one SB. But guess what? So did the Packers. The Steelers won zero SBs over the last decade. The 49ers won zero. Vikings won zero. Falcons won zero. Winning a SB requires more than talent.

:Who and was rooting for the Bucs? I mean being happy for Fournette or a white is not the same as rooting for the Bucs. I was pretty ticked off actually that dick head Brady won

Was it that or because it took him a few years to not suck? Some of us hate drafting RBs in the first and really hate trading up for one.
I know this couple that are Bama fans and Steelers fans. The husband is like you and doesn’t care but the wife was pretty upset the one draft (forget the year 12 or 13 maybe) but Richardson went to Cleveland the Bengals took a Bama player i forget who, the Ravens took Upshaw and the Patriots Hightower

It was part Ingram and part scheme.
Ingram goes in - its a run, they load up the box and tackle him behind the LOS. that was routine.
The other issue was the health concerns missing 11 games in 3 years
