I did not know CP coached the Saints in the 1980s and 1990s. In 42 years the Saints drafted 7 LSU players. CP drafted 1 of them?

There did seem to be something goofy going on there but who knows for real

I don't think it was especially LSU. I think he knows how loyal people here are to our hometown stars and he figured that if one came here and was borderline and he wanted to cut them he would get a bunch of backlash. That is just a guess. But it is misguided. Lets face it Devery was very inconsistent for awhile before he really became good with the Saints. In his early seasons his hands were not very good, ppl got on him for it to.

Agreed 100 % Sean thought/thinks OSU puts out the best pros or something along those lines. No coincidence with the number of players we drafted. I don’t think he had anything against LSU per se. It was more of a preference for osu players.
Also fwiw OP has some weird grudge against the Saints and city of New Orleans so I wouldn’t read into it too much.
