All that said, Sean has to let Ingram get into some sort of rhythm. Stop using him for just one play, then calling him back to the sideline for the rest of a drive.

I have a feeling that he gets a lot of carries next week.

The offense got first downs when it mattered most tonight. And would have scored but for TLL’s fumble. Offense is fine.

After the game, Payton also mentioned the penalties on some big plays. It's hard for any offense to get rolling if they're getting screwed on calls that are nitpicky at best. Not only because they're drive-killers, but the players then have to suddenly adjust their approach.

Thomas shouldn't have to think twice about stiff-arming a defender for fear of getting an unnecessary roughness penalty.

Id rather the offense be stuttering rn without Armstead, Ginn, and (Unger) than for the defense to be struggling. We are a complete team right now.

Not too concerned if we get the linemen healthy..

Also, these concerning games have all been road games?

Let's get home field and be comfortable in our element again.

Still wish Ginn Jr would return.

That’s a good point. We have a championship defense. They’re lights out and getting better and better.

I think if we get healthy along the OL and Ginn comes back we will be ok. If Ginn doesn’t then we might be fricked. It’s either that or something is wrong with Drew’s shoulder

Even against Atlanta they weren’t really that great

Was that a short week? I can't remember.

This next game is a good test. Steelers D is good, but we are at home.

The offense was fine for the first half against ATL on Thanksgiving but were hit and miss after that.

I think if we get healthy along the OL and Ginn comes back we will be ok
along with the fact that we are at home. The dome will be rocking for the playoffs and the best defense in Brees era is nice.

Crazy thing about the parity in the NFL, at 2 wins, the Saints are currently on the 3rd longest win streak in the NFL, and tied for the longest win streak in the NFC.

They stopped using Taysom Hill and the offense suffered. As soon as he played they got a spark. He makes the defense freak out for whatever reason even though you know he is just gonna run it.

They need another receiver to get open more. I’d rather see Kamara and Ingram both on the field. Put Kamara in the slot and force them to cover both.

Yep. Then they’ll complain about how awful this board is when not realizing it’s them that’s turned it into what it is they claim to hate.
And you prefer threads started to bash Drew Brees and say he's final season Peyton Manning washed up, and all the other threads saying completely stupid stuff, that's the stuff YOU promote and want on the boards.

Yeah outside of the first half against the Falcons, the offense has no energy. We need Ginn back bad. The good news is the defense has become almost elite

The OL is the cause. Limits running game and makes Brees uncomfortable. He becomes less accurate and has trouble finding 2nd and 3rd options. With Armstead, Unger, and Ginn we are a different team offensively.

No I didn't. I more than agreed that the troll posts like "we should trade Brees" and "we are going to lose out" were stupid. I pointed out the trend through three games for this offense, and why people had a right to be upset with what they are watching. A handful of zealous posters took offense to it.
