They didn't look bad, but can someone explain them? Are we ditching the gold pants (all white and all black)?

I'd say they are working their way into making the current color rush their primaries next season.

All black
All white (current color rush)
New color rush next season maybe an all black with more white and gold stripes on socks and pants? Just as long as we don't go all gold...

Meh, I wasn't crazy about them. Looked cheap for some reason.

Call me a traditionalist but I prefer the black gold combo. I don't mind the all white or all black uniforms on occasion, but I just think think the classic combo is one of the best in the NFL.

And I agree, the all gold looked like cat puke.

they looked cheap because they refuse to put a stripe on them. If they would do that it would be much nicer.

I explained what happened in my MSB thread:

The Saints' usual all white Color Rush uniforms are widely regarded as the best uniforms in the NFL.

The NFL has a rule that you can only wear Color Rush 3 times each season, and the Saints' don't want to forfeit their regular home and away uniforms by making the Color Rush their "primary" uniforms.

So enter today the ridiculous practice uniforms that the Saints are wearing to try and recreate the all white color rush... arguably the worst uniforms in NFL history. Plain white pants no stripes tiny logo with very plain white jerseys- looks like what all of us Alpha baws rocked in M-Th practice at St Martin's or Country Day after class.

Everybody loses with dumb red tape rules like this.

They were a little plain. I like the effort of trying something new but a stripe would have looked better.

Both teams had on white pants with no stripes?

Some college teams did the same on Saturday, Ole Miss for example.

I guessed it was for some awareness for something weekend, but don't know. I wasn't a good look for any of the teams that did this, just looked they wore practice pants.

Agreed. The pants were a lot plain. Maybe some black and gold stripes on that thing like the gold pants do?

They looked like crap. They looked like cheap practice uniforms. They looked like Ms. Benson didn't want to spring for some real football uniforms. This is Professional football, not NORD.

Crappy looking uniform. Doesn't even have the history of Penn State's all white, just cheap garbage white practice uniforms.

the only thing that would have made them worse is if the jerseys had "New Orleans Saints Football" with a football on the front and the player's number in the football.

Come on, Sean, we've won a Super Bowl, for chrissakes, dress like it.

It was the white version of the all black uniforms. The color rush is a different jersey. This was just a way to incorporate the usual white jersey into a monochrome color scheme.

It was no better or worse than the all black (in which the Saints look like they are wearing yoga pants). Personally, I like striping on the pants and hate both the black and white versions of what was worn yesterday.

IMO, stop messing around with the various uniforms and go:

Road: color rush whites
Home: This (tweaking the pants to match the other gold aspects)

Your picture is the best Saints uni imho, and it's not even close. That shite is lit.
