Buddy was smart and understood the issue.
I think Buddy would be crushing Gayle and Loomis. DA isn’t the biggest problem in NO.

People gave Buddy a lot of shite after he banged the table for Ditka, but he was essentially right: the saints needed to hire a football man after Finks died and Kuharich and Jim Miller had proven they weren't worth a shite. He just picked the wrong football man.

I would pay money for the boxed set of his shows. He left a hole that was never filled on WWL. Well except for the ads. They filled a big chunk of it

Buddy D would have preached Truth to Power enough now to be totally banned from all New Orleans Saints events, properties and facilities, to include all transportation on land, sea and air. He'd probably be getting sued into removing all Saints logos from his personal vehicle.

Buddy admitted he was wrong about Ditka, though. You can't get many radio/TV/print people to admit something like that after they push a particular coach.
