That's definitely not true. We try to emulate that Sea cover 3/cover 1 man they ran when they had everyone.
The guys we have now don't fit, from most of the corners to most of the safeties to most of the LBs.
That said he's on the downside and I'd definitely not trade Teddy for him straight up, nor should the 9ers be looking to trade as their team ain't close.

If the Saints trade Bridgewater for Sherman then who would be their backup if Drew gets hurt? From what I read coach Peyton says Bridgewater is picking up the offense scheme quickly.

Aside from Sherman being injured and looking like he's lost a bit from his LoB days, this sorta like....puts some emphasis on why it's good to have a solid plan B in place (no pun intended)?
Drew's been a damn ironman out there over the years, but it's nice to have a competent QB behind him. Hopefully Hill keeps getting better as time goes too, then we're really gonna be dealing with the best kinda problems.
