A lot of smoke early on but it seemed to tail off later in the season.

I think you have it backwards. He finished strong.

I thought he was great. DT is a tough position for rookies and his pass rush flashes were elite. He struggled against the run but that’s not cause for concerns right now.

He had a comparable season to Jalen Carter, who fell off the map the 2nd half of the season.

Future looks good. It was known that he excelled at rushing the qb and needed work on run stuffing. All spot on. He was rotated in on pass plays. He knows what he needs to do to be a 3 down lineman. Good pick.

He should have been defensive ROY.

He had a good season, grew, and was nice down the stretch. My biggest concern for him is us actually putting good players around him.

I thought he did a good job... Heard his name a few times and that's good for a rookie...

Would be nicer if he wasn’t playing next to rotational DTs. Not sure anyone on our D line scares offenses, so Breese is likely going to be the focal point of doubles

Solid. As another poster stated he will need help, rest of the interior line is below average.

Not bad at all for the snaps he played. If he becomes a 3 down lineman watch out.

Yep. DT is going to be a huge need in next years draft.

Knocked down a lot of passes. Underrated skill for lineman, and something CJordan excelled at

I've pulled up some numbers from other NFC South teams in searches but not at snap count. And I started wondering if the numbers were inflated due to Carolina's bad O-line last year.

theses stats aren't play specific or opponent specific so who knows.

but something to keep in mind. Carolina signed two guards to deals in the off season and they are supposed to be good run blockers.

Dave Canales ran it up the middle a lot with Tampa last year and while not exactly effective, that's where he tried the most I thought. Probably speaks to Tampa's poor run blocking?

One of the few decent players on our entire team. Hopefully the losing culture and mentalities on this team don’t rub off on him in year 2.

4.5 sacks for a rookie DT is pretty damn good

Also, DTs aren't supposed to get the pressure stats ends do. He has a ton of potential that is already becoming evident.
