Brees no longer Elite?

He's had his moments this year when you say yes but his play today and this year overall have been slightly above average. He's missing wide open guys and under throwing receivers a lot like he's lost his rhythm or his arm is fading. I'm one of his biggest supporters but lately he's been average at best.....flame away

I will say this was easily a bottom 10 game for Brees as a Saint and a bottom 5 for Payton. Also one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen.

The original poster makes a point. He did throw that one interception late in the game. I spilled my beer after that. Is Brees going to reimburse me for that beer? What about the fact that I lost my buzz after the game? I blame Brees for this to.

How am I a troll when all I am questioning is Brees elite status. I don't give a shite what you call me but the truth hurts and he played like shite today and in a few games this season he's just gotten away with it until now. I hope they get it together but the saints of two years ago gets a first fukin down and puts the game away.

Even elite quarterbacks have off games. Brady didn't play particularly well today, either.
