Maybe the swelling is/was minimal. We never saw ice on it.

Yeah his demeanor seemed to be that this was real serious.

People are saying Drew’s done.. I just don’t think there is anyway he goes out like this

Not really
They can ultrasound it and see if there is a ligament tear

So when you bluff in poker, you show your cards immediately? Because that’s what happens when you run out there with your helmet and then send TB into the game
Again, did you even watch the game?
He came out the tunnel a few minutes after the second half started. He didn’t come out right at the start. We kicked off to start the second half, so no one knew, all we knew was that Drew wasn’t on the sideline at the beginning of the second half.
Then all of a sudden he came trotting out with his helmet on looking like he was ready to play.
Again, you must have been taking a nap.

I saw the whole thing. A shitty bluff when you do that and then Drew takes his helmet off and TB goes into the game, no?

Honestly, I dont think you did. So I’m done with you.

There was no bluff. For about 5 seconds everyone thought drew was gonna play until we saw teddy trot out on the field.
Drew was coming out late bc of the X-ray. That’s what happened.

That ligament is torn ... I did the same thing playing football. Felt jammed, I played tried to shake it off, but as it got stiff, my hand was unusable. Just like Drew, my thumb had no stability when the ER doctor was working on it.
He will get the best care, but I doubt he will be able to throw the next 2 months.

It happens like this in football quite often. If it's the UCL then you are talking several weeks and nobody knows what his decision will be after this. He has to do what's best for him.

Coming out with no helmet or carrying his helmet would be admitting defeat for Drew something he wasn’t going to do.

Don’t tell him that. It was an all in 7-2 offsuit bluff so that the rams didn’t have time to prepare for the juggernaut that is Theodore Bridgewater

I had UCL surgery on my thumb from sports. I was out 12 weeks. My hand didn’t feel normal for up to 6 months after.

Is there any way both of you could shut the frick up.. Thanks!

I suspect he is headed to IR status.

My hand still doesn't feel right... 2 years after the injury
