You mean the 2 balls he threw downfield after he was hurt?

Did anyone at the game see this as well? It's different than viewing on TV because you see the entire arc of the throws.

No it's not. It was painfully clear that he was throwing ducks. You didn't have to be in the Dome to notice that.

His arm got hit as he threw though. Looking at it made me cringe. I hope he's okay because it looked like it hurt like a mofrackey

is that preseason? he must be hurt more now.

I'm telling you from first hand, EVERY one of the passes were yesterday was short.

it's easy to pull a pass from preseason where he fired it downfield.

Yea when he immediately started trying to "shake it off" I knew it was bad. He wasnt the same after that.

so it came across on TV as well, noted. I love Brees and what he has done for the city, the team, and Louisiana in general but it's time to move on. We got beat by Jameis Winston.

Is this just a subtle way to brag about being at the game?

There is no better immediate option to turn to. Drew has all season to prove if he is in the Saints future plans. This is just the first time since he has been here that we have to start "considering" a replacement or make sure the backup is the future of the franchise.

If Garrett is that guy then great if not I think it is time we get that person in the building.

Best case scenario a fire is lit in that arse and we get a Brett Favre run out of Drew...worst case an era is over and we can start moving on.

No it's not. I just think you see the passes better at the game and I was wondering if others saw the same. It doesn't come across on TV IMO because of the angles if its the receivers fault or the pass.

Whenever he throws a deep ball now, as the camera pans down the field, I fully expect to see it landing in the bread basket of a player on the other team.

So let's move on because he couldn't throw deep after a shoulder injury? Brilliant

He showed this preseason he still has the deep ball when healthy. Unless his arm strength just magically weakened

Brees was hurt simple as that and it's a team game the saints as a team got beat because they are not that good period.

Yeah, the only two deep balls he had thrown in 2015 were the perfect bomb to Cooks in the preseason and one overthrow in the Cards game. The offense was out of sorts against Arizona, but Brees's arm looked fine before he was clearly injured against TB.
