Just STOP it man...you are just looking everywhere/anywhere for ANYTHING which does not align perfectly with YOUR way of thinking ! We get it, EVERYONE who does not confirm to your 'standards' needs to be doxed/humiliated/chastised and 'called out'....funny just how small a person you seem to be when considering all that !

You look like you have lived a sad life where someone’s opinion of respecting the national anthem actually makes you upset. I feel bad that people like you don’t have a better life.

so now we’re not even permitted to disagree without backlash? WTF man. Listen, I understand that people are mad and they’re rioting. I don’t begin to know what it’s like to be black, but don’t tell me to blindly just accept all forms of protesting.

I never took Drew to be such a dumbass. His statement, in and of itself, isn't directly controversial but read the room buddy. Given the current climate and your chosen profession is predominantly black, maybe it wasn't a great idea to publicly come out "against them". Even if he's not, that's the only way it'll be interpreted in the current sphere.

The guy just donated 5M fricking dollars to help deliver meals during the lockdown but you have clowns on twitter trying to “cancel” him. Those clowns collectively in their lifetimes will not do a fraction for the black community or any community of what Brees did just a few months ago.

While they were busy blacking our their Instagram he’s fed thousands and actually walked the walk of caring for his fellow man.

He had the golden opportunity on Wednesday to serve as one of the NFL’s most prominent unifiers when asked how he and the league would respond if players resurrected protests against police brutality.

Brees could have signaled to his African American teammates and extended football family that he badly wants to understand their pain and be a part of the solution.

Drew Brees' comments on protests during the National Anthem were not well received by teammates. But instead, Brees strongly condemned protests that take place during the national anthem. He again distorted the message behind such gestures. He proved that — whether out of willfulness or out of pure ignorance — he still doesn’t get it.

The decision by Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players in 2016 to take a knee during the playing of the anthem was never a move of anti-patriotism.

It never had anything to do with the flag or the anthem itself. The protests were to draw attention to the country’s ongoing problem with police brutality against people of color, and systematic oppression.

Kaepernick has flatly said otherwise.

He clearly said it was because he wanted to show no pride in the flag or country.... so clearly it was anti-patriotism.

so many inaccuracies in this post, not even sure where to begin

this post is a perfect, textbook example of reacting with feelings and mob mentality instead of facts and logic. just emotional talking points and faux outrage.

that's a load of crap; if you are protesting police violence then go protest in front of a police station. the country's flag has nothing to do with that.

Stand strong Drew!! You are entitled to free thought and not just go along with what everyone else does. Persecution is the real thing. I feel sorry for the black community. They have to address racism in their community also. All the videos since these riots have started is African American’s beating up white people, destroying their businesses and I don’t hear a peep from any of these African American millionaire players. They actually embrace it as justice. Stand strong drew!!

2020. A year where one of the best NFL players ever, an extremely charitable guy, and one of the nicest human beings ever is the most hated person in America because he has an opinion that apparently is different from others (which is the right one anyway).

People need to wake the frick up.
