The irony is that Brees has done more for black communities than these fuggers have or ever will.
This is the equivalent to saying "I'm not racist. I have black friends."

It’s up to him how he wants to feel. It’s just that there is so much lack of self awareness in his statements.
There really isn't any logic to the freak out that has come from him saying this, especially when you consider he's said this before, where were MT, Sanders, and Kamara when he said it before?
I keep hearing how it's not disresecting the flag but I'm not sure how you juxtapose that with the fact that I bet all these people complaining ALL stood for the Anthem their entire lives before 2016, and standing for the Anthem is universally known as standing to respect the Flag, so...

It’s so disgusting that just because he feels that way, all those assholes feel the need to passively aggressively paint him as a racist.
fricking sick of this shite
fricking sick of this shite

He completely ignored what kneeling during the anthem actually meant and ignores that the rights his grandfathers fought for are actually not granted unilaterally right now. That's not an opinion.

FAWK Drew Brees...the team showed we didn't need him last year!

Did you watch the whole video?
What is wrong with his statements? We will listen.

What are you trying to say??

People literally about to run this man out of town, be damned all the philanthropy.

Let's hear more from you.
Please give us your thoughts in detail.

Talk is cheap, it's about actual doing not talking and tweeting.

That sounds like, "look at me everyone, I knew this all along but can't show you how I knew, you just have to trust me" quote begging for attention.
Ryan Clark is not a bright person, yet tries so hard to be edgy and comes off really cringe.

You already know how that’s gonna go

It was simply not something that was thought of at the time, and there was no established way for someone to express how those have been oppressed...at least not in a way that could legit draw attention to the cause. We probably don’t even have this conversation in this kind of capacity if Kap didn’t do what he did.

Teammates pissed, big names like Lebron going at his neck. This season is fricked because of Drew feeling the need to defend a piece of fricking cloth. Wonderful

time for a category 5 to hit the city. maybe some existential dread will be the reset button.

Ask anyone why they stand for the flag pre 2016, and the answer is because it shows respect.
That all of a sudden has changed? No, it doesn't work that way, you don't get to dictate terms on your feelings for everyone.

Drew should’ve been more aware of what he said...but the reaction is fricking absurd.

Actually it isn't, since he actually does stuff. Talk is cheap.
