It's not fair and it does suck. However, I wonder what's going through Goodell's mind now that the best team in the NFC, and possibly the NFL, has lost their starting QB? This opens the door even more for the Saints.

That sucks. Kid finally put it all together this year. When you look at what the Vikings have put together it’s remarkable.

Nobody will know just how far the second year qb would have taken them but if he returns to form the eagles should be around the top of NFC for quite sometime in the post Brees era.
We have to win out for either of the two top seed possibilities to come to fruition, and sooner or later we’ll have to deal with Minnesota or the rams again it seems. I just want to get to the 2 at least so we don’t have to play a divisional opponent in the playoffs even at home

Eagles haven't won a championship since 1960. That beyond unfair. Hate seeing that. Tremendous talent.
