frick the NFL and that fricking douchebag commissioner. I know we fricked up, but a whole fricking year?! Are you fricking kidding me? The NFL and Goodell are making it harder and harder for me to be a fan. If it weren't for the Saints, I probably wouldn't give a shite about the NFL. This is so over the top and ridiculous.

If Sean Payton is suspended for a year, then Gregg Williams should never be allowed to coach again.
Gregg Williams is suspended indefinitely with a gaurantee that he'll miss 2012.

And look, the Saints fricked up. This isn't cheating with videoing the Jets. This is player safety, apparently. And this is an issue that will never go away for the league, especially with the suits just filed.

Payton and Loomis knew about this. Joe Vitt and Gregg Williams knew about this. Nobody stopped it. They had to know it would come out. Had they had the wherewithall to fess up and stop it the punishment would probably not be this severe.

My dad always told me if you do bad things you get bad things. Oh fricking well. The Saints will still be a very good football team next year, regardless.

fricking Broderick Bunkley just signed a contract with us. Players dont GAF...they want to win.

I hope we beat the frick out of everyone next year, win the super bowl and when Goodell attempts to get on stage after the Super bowl.. We deny the frick out of him... And pretty much tell him to go frick himself in front of the whole world.

Don't get me wrong, I know we fricked up. I was one of the few that realized what we did was wrong unlike most Saints fans. But these penalties are ridiculous. Losing our head coach for a whole year? I get player safety and trying to make an example, but these punishments are honestly laughable. My serious first reaction was laughing because of how ridiculous this is.

So...what did "shite bag" Greg Williams get for a punishment in all of this?

Honestly, they were given every opportunity to stop it without getting penalized, but they thumbed their noses at the league. That is why the sanctions are so severe. It was like they were mocking the league. Do you go to court and mock the judge?

I'm sick. I think I might go home early from work. What a horrible day.

A whole year. Wow.

Indefinite suspension, meaning he may never be allowed to work in the NFL ever again.

I didn't think the Saints were going to get off easy with this. A year for Payton is more of a personal punishment to him as he loses, what, $8M? As far as head coach, the Saints have two pseudo head coaches in Petey and Spagnuolo. I ain't even mad.

Mickey better hurry the frick up and get Drew signed though.

I was expecting it to be bad too. Like 6 games for Payton and Loomis, loss of multiple draft picks, large fines, etc. This is much more than that.

We are lucky to only lose two second round picks. We still have our first next year. How they didn't take that away is beyond me.

That actually is surprising. But from the looks of it they wanted to punish individuals more than the organization.

What I'm still scared about is player suspensions, if any. The entire defense could be off the field for games this year.
