Both sides seem to be in agreement, so why hasn’t DA been fired?

One side says hey look, DA has no control of the team and the players don’t respect him and then he threw them all under the bus so he should be fired. Logic is sound.
Other side has come out, the players are trash for doing this, it was bush league, DA was right to call them out, yet it all leads back to the same point. Why? Because we are in cap hell, so the whole team pretty much coming back, that’s the whole team that has no respect for him. So even if you are washing your hands of next season, keeping DA is gonna expose the club to more drama and issues.
You’ve got two top half picks in rd1 and 2 this year. As well as some good comp picks. Those should be made by a new staff committed to the rebuild. Not wasted by a lame duck.
Coaches don’t count against the cap. And we shouldn’t be letting DA hire an OC. Cut him. Both sides of the argument lead you to that point.

I’m curious to see where this John Gruden thing goes. You know DA has to be looking over his shoulder.
Having them both on staff with DA still as HC is a ticking time bomb. Gruden will inevitably overshadow DA.

You would assume that hiring Gruden would be DA's call. I mean after all it's his staff. the HC is the one who picks the coordinators and assistants.
If Loomis is somehow make the hiring and firing calls on the staff without DA's input then oof, just fire DA now.

The kerfuffle over the Williams TD in relation to Dennis Allen's job security might be the dumbest moment in the history of Saints Talk.
Literally nobody on Airline gives a single flying frick about this story in regards to head coach or front office. The only potential fallout would be not bringing JW2 back.

I guess Airline decides the future of the organization, rest of the state and fan base be damned. Empty dome and bags coming soon

You think Gayle is going to pay $4m to $8m to buy DA’s contract out when she is still having to ask for our help for St. Louis Cathedral repairs?
Until we do our part with the Church repairs, she’s not going to care what we want.

Literally the only people who care about this are the fan's that want DA fired (for anything even the rain yesterday) and the media talking heads the need an exciting story in this blah NFL season.

Yeah, players completely ignoring the head coach during a game has zero effect on anything.
Why are you such a dumb frick?

Jeff Duncan reported Loomis had a meeting with only the players (no coaches) to discuss culture and air out grievances. You’re an idiot if you don’t think it matters.

For perspective - we had a severely underperforming offense that belongs in Rec leagues, players calling each other out, and now players ignoring a coach and running their own plays.
Taken in totally - it’s a shite show brewing.
We are consistently 1 game away from the wheels coming off.
Sounds like Loomis sees it.

Was a formal end of year meeting that always happens. This is an example of Duncan fluffing out a nice tweet to make it seem substantive. Not a big deal despite what the DA haters dream.

Why are people DA haters. The guy is terrible? Why should we keep him? Do you have an actual argument or do you just like being contrarian?
