Rookie RB Boston Scott went unclaimed on waivers, per source. It wouldn't surprise me if Scott is back with the Saints on the practice squad at some point.

WHO's THE BITCH
Saints practice squad
TE Garrett Griffin
Griffin was in competition with Dan Arnold, Zach Phillips and Deon Yelder for the Saints third tight end spot. He was also on the Saints practice squad last season and was called up late in the year, appearing in three games and making one catch.
WR Keith Kirkwood
Kirkwood has impressive size (6-3, 210) and flashed some play-making ability in training camp. He was a bit inconsistent catching the ball, but is nonetheless an intriguing prospect.
RT Rick Leonard
Leonard, a fourth-round pick in 2018, became the highest-drafted Saints rookie not to make the initial 53-man roster since Al Woods in 2010. But he cleared waivers and is an interesting developmental prospect, even if he is not ready to play right away.
Tackle Rick Leonard became the highest Saints draft pick not to make the initial 53-man roster since 2010.
DT Woodrow Hamilton IV
Hamilton was a late addition to the Saints practice squad a year ago. He was a cut day casualty thanks in part to the Saints unusually deep defensive line group, but brings some NFL experience to the roster, having played two games with the Patriots in 2016.
LB Vince Biegel
Biegel is the lone (current) player on the Saints practice squad who was not with the team for training camp. He was a fourth-round pick by the Green Bay Packers last year, and after missing the first half of the season on the physically unable to perform list made seven tackles in nine games.
QB J.T. Barrett
With the Saints quarterback room being loaded, Barrett seemed like an ideal practice squad candidate. Signed after a prolific Ohio State career, Barrett completed 6 of 11 passes in limited preseason work. The Saints like his mental makeup.
TE Deon Yelder
At a listed 6-foot-4, 255 pounds, Yelder has the frame to be an NFL tight end. But the Western Kentucky product was clearly still a bit too raw to get a chance to contribute on an NFL roster just yet. He will get a chance to develop on the Saints practice squad.
OL Nate Wozniak
Wozniak was attempting to make the switch from being a college tight end to an NFL offensive tackle. He was always considered a long shot to make the initial 53-man roster, but he has done a nice job adding weight to his massive 6-foot-10 frame and could be an intriguing prospect if he is able to pick up the finer points of the position.
DE Alex Jenkins (International Player Pathway)
Jenkins, an England native, does not count against the 10-man practice-squad limit as part of the International Player Pathway initiative. Two players earned spots through that initiative this year -- Jordan Mailata with the Philadelphia Eagles and Efe Obada with the Carolina Panthers.
RB Jonathan Williams
With Mark Ingram's suspension creating a need for the first four weeks of the season, Williams not making the Saints' initial 53-man roster was one of the biggest surprises of the weekend. Williams looked impressive in the preseason while working his way up the depth chart, leading all Saints running backs in yards and touchdowns. The Saints instead cut Williams and signed Mike Gillislee later Sunday.
RB Dwayne Washington
Washington spent his first two seasons with the Detroit Lions, who selected him in the seventh round out of Washington in 2016. While Washington struggled as a runner in his first two seasons (110 carries, 309 yards, 2.8 yards per carry) he looked improved this preseason and can also contribute on special teams.

I imagine Washington.
I'm not concerned about keeping Scott or not, I'm concerned about carrying 2 rbs on the active roster. 2010 worries me.

I’d definitely get rid of Washington out of that group, or Barrett bc it’s pretty clear that he’s not an nfl level qb.
Posted on 9/6/18 at 4:07 pm to Garden of Asik
I would like Barrett to be the cut. Washington could be of some use this season if injuries pile up.
Between Brees, Bridgewater, and Hill there is no need at all for Barrett.

we're developing him. Extra practice arm. Barrett is learning the system. He's too potentially valuable to let him go.

That's great to hear but honestly I'm shocked he didn't get picked up
Posted on 9/6/18 at 4:19 pm to Nissanmaxima
The bucs should have picked him up. It was there only shot at winning anything this week
Posted on 9/6/18 at 4:22 pm to Chad504boy
The way this board reacted 31 teams should have put in claims

I figured he'd clear because Williams did.

I say this every fricking year and nobody listens. EVERY team has that young surprise RB that looked great in camp and preseason. And they almost never get claimed.
