i'm not a fan of booing our team's players...the reggie fumbles were real bad and i was just as ticked as the next guy, but the booing goes too far, especially in a winning effort in the first game of the season. To the boo birds, respectfully. anyone else agree?

(i'm talkin about booing saints players...not interested in a debate reggie bush thread)

Fans who booed reggie need to go frick themselves.

Reggie had a bad game, everybody has one. Give Reggie some time, it was only the first game. Expect him to return a punt for a TD or to breakout for a long play in the next game or so.

I would normally agree on this, but I think a little booing might do Reggie some good

Classless to boo you own team. There is a term for fans that boo their own team and the term is "Cowboys Fans".

no way in hell...he's kind of fragile he's only going to try and make more out of nothing if you boo him

i remember last year against minn when the entire dome was chanting his name...the dude only wants to please

Especially when you know Reggie has put a lot of emphasis on bettering himself this offseason. He wanted to make a play, he wanted to prove himself to the fans, and he tried a little too hard...

But he'll be good for at least 10 touchdowns this season...

Fans pay a lot of money to speak their minds at games. Come on. This isn't kindergarten. The same fans that were booing will be going nuts when he takes one to the house.

Go Reggie!

ETA: If you pay me that kind of money you have my permission to rape my dead grandmother if I fumble the ball.

Kidding, of course.

I don't mind the sarcastic cheers like when we finally made a tackle on the coverage teams, but booing your own players in a winning effort is idiotic, IMO. It doesn't do any good.

Delhommo deserved to be boo'd for his performance against the Eaglets, though.

The only people we should boo are the refs!! Especially if they make the kind of calls they did yesterday.

idk...seems kinda hippocritical(sp?) to me to cheer for a guy all the time, then boo him after a few mistakes...lack of effort and some circumstances are boo worthy, but not to a guy who always gives his all while the team is winning.

support the team...boo birds suck...no one likes them...not the players, not the coaches, not the real fans

jesus christ not another "please don't boo our players" statement. stop whining about people booing. when a player or the team is performing horribly, then the fans who shell out $1600 for tickets have every god damn right to boo.

I hate you cry babies that whine when fans boo and express their frustrations with piss poor play. If we can cheer when the players or team is performing well, then we can boo when they perform horribly.

If Bell was booed when he fumbled, then you'd have a case; he performed superbly and had one mistake. But sorry, brah, 3 fumbles (yes, one was ruled down, but he still dropped the f'n ball) without any production to compensate them is more than enough reason to be booed.

go with Bush and Brooks
